Copyright © Harold Aspden, 1969

This book, now out of print, was published privately by the author in 1969 using a business name Sabberton Publications, Sabberton being his wife’s maiden name. 2,000 copies were printed, 1,000 bound in hardback and 1,000 in softback.

The book is presented in these web pages in PDF (Portable Document Format) and may be read, section by section, according to the following content list. In view of the very substantial advances since 1969 of the author’s research on the subjects discussed, each Chapter has an associated commentary which is not in pdf format and so may be read separately.
